How could this Croisette pass quality control??

Just received a Croisette which I ordered online and discovered a big scuff on the lock. I wonder what did the person who inspected the hardware before approving it for sale think??
You can also see a tiny stain on the vachetta tab which is actually nothing compared to the scuff

Of course. Most likely will have to return and then order again since it’s often unavailable. I’m just shocked how such an obvious defect could have been ok’d??

Yes it’s definitely unacceptable for the price you paid. I hope you can get the new one that’s perfect very soon.

Sorry this happened to you! When my Coussin PM in Cream arrived there was obvious signs of wear and it was "new" and shipped from a warehouse in California. I feel like once it leaves the factory it's essentially in mint condition, but then it goes to the warehouse for packing/shipping as they remove all the stuffing, paper, wrapping etc to put it in the linen Pouch that it could be subject to failure. Even some LV boxes I have received are slightly torn. Thankfully CS was able to help my exchange and my Black Coussin PM just shipped!

Definitely return for an exchange and/or contact LV Concierge to help you out. The experience in store vs online shopping is definitely different as we can't inspect the bag ourselves

I don't think LV does quality control, otherwise why there are so many defects and imperfections. I think LV sends items right after manufacture

Sadly, I'm not surprised. I recently saw a FB post about a gal who ordered the new BTP sneakers and received 2 LEFT FEET !!
