Horrible Experience with the Famous Interpreter Ryan Kim Hyung Won 김형원

Call me petty or anything but if he wants to do me this dirty i am going to fbi everything i can about him regardless of its 1st/2nd/3rd hand info

Also for those who say he did not "agree" on dates can go too cause he led me on with payments and schedules

Timeline
22.12.23 Friday
-Requested for his services and he has responded accordingly and all the normal things from informing rates asking him about scheduling etc

-At this point I already had Its B/Cohen/Kowon scheduled over two days and I asked if he could schedule in BT & The Hada for me...Also if he could try Nosanghun again just in case they had cancellations. Its B and Kowon was scheduled by another interpreter who got double booked.

-10.35am He sent me his famous website link for Gangnam Buddy https://gangnambuddy.com/
I wished I couldve screenshot on how he advertised himself and if there was some kind of law for false advertising I would go for it...Unfortunately it was taken down shortly after and the rumour was he was asked to go to the police station for illegal brokering

-He said Nosanghun was still fully booked which would make me think he has already start asking the other clinics too but just havent got a reply

-At no point of time did he hint he was going to disappear on me as even his last message to me was about $

-My last four messages to him on that day were read and not replied to

-So as a benefit of doubt as it was close to Christmas he could be busy/weekends or anything else

24.12.23 Sunday
-Wished him Merry Christmas in hopes he could have updates for me but everything from then on was unread

26.12.23 Tuesday
-It was the Dec-Jan period as you all know everywhere gets booked up and I got panicked as I tried to prompt him and it was no longer read till today

27.12.23
-I had an inkling he would disappear for good and contacted The Hada who told me to talk to them in We Chat for Mandarin....I told them about Ryan and was informed they were not contacted by him at all for any schedule. I also contacted Its B who said to try and wait for him or they will try to get me an interpreter on their platform. We struggled in Papago but the end result is he did not contact them either.

-I tried one last attempt on an interpreter named Min Young but she left me on read (You can say she has no obligations to reply me)

-I rearranged all the consults for 8.1.24 (except Kowon which was on the 9th) alone and still updated Ryan on the timings

29.12.23
-Asked the previous interpreter to cancel my appointment for Kowon as I was focusing on different plans because my gut was Ryan would not come

7.1.24 Sunday
-I tried asking in the gc to see if anyone was in contact with Ryan but no one responded so I thought maybe something happened to him

-At this point i already gave myself different backup plans without interpreter so I didnt look for anyone else after

8.1.24 Monday
-I flew in and did all the consults alone

12.1.24 Friday
-I tried to arrange a meet up with a girl (Girl A) who used him because I find it weird he was responding to someone and miaed (missing in action) on me

13.1.24 Saturday
-Girl B contacted me after seeing me post BNAs of Hada and told me Ryan was going with her too (I wont delve in too much but she asked Ryan before and said he was too busy*1)

-His response to her was if you dont trust me then get another interpreter. If thats how he treats a client trying to find out his shady practices it already speaks volumes of his character

16.1.24 Tuesday
-Met Girl A up for dinner, she said she would ask but didnt get back to me so I gave up on her lead...Maybe she forgot i dont know

25.1.24 Thursday
-Returned back to my country but something about the ghosting was still tugging at me so I decided to comment on his instagram

Note he has at least three accounts with some shared accounts with Daisy
1. RyanKim13 (Private)
2. Ryan_daisy_ (Public) i got blocked cause I commented on this
3. Ryan_k_im (Business)

I commented about him being a liar it got deleted

I commented about why would he delete if he had nothing to hide and he deleted

I commented that Ill post everywhere and finally he decides to pm me back on insta.

He said he did not want to consult with me because I was reported to GMTC who I had no connections with and that they were connected to all clinics. He also mentioned I was blacklisted by *ALL* translators and that he can do anything he wants because he is a freelance translator...

Note: I am a freelance as well. That is not how we talk to potential customers. If we are not going to do the job we politely decline/offer solutions.

I told him he should not have ghosted me and he said Ghosting you?! Did he meet me before? We only talked on kkt and I told him it meant he disappeared on me which he replied I did not know what ghosting means😂 I sent him a screenshot on google🙂

He then said I didnt even pay him but I have proof that he said I could pay him when I arrive and I even thanked him for trusting me

Further more he said he will sue me at GMTC for my "immature" behaviour and based on Korean law he can report and sue me since I mentioned his name without permission which got a few people laughing as he doesnt know law better than a foerigner as it only applies to Korean Nationals.

With my benefit of doubt personality I have checked with multiple sources on this imaginary report: GMTC being the most credential one, Selena the translator since he said i was blacklisted by all translators and a few others who I think would be better to keep anonymity that this thing definitely does not exist.

On the insta Ryan_k_im you will see he has multiple posts of dates with Daisy which meant he lied to Girl B about being busy

Girl B tried to defend him and say it's definitely not him with no proof just because of his English...

In my opinion, he didnt read my kkt thats a fact.Fact two That account is his shared account with his wife.

If anyone thinks im in the wrong at any point you can let me know as well
