horizontal mounting for an oval stone

Does anyone have info or opinions on Oval diamonds mounted horizontally for a RHR ? I love east west settings on ovals and marquise cuts! I think it would look great w/ a micropave setting.

a df has a dia set hor. It looks very nice! It's probably a 1.5 ct. and is in a thick yg setting w/ emeralds around it. Go for it! I just saw the site, I love them both!

I love east-west too! I have stubby little fingers, so it's sooooo much more flattering for me than a traditional oval setting. I have a white topaz set e/w and it's really pretty.. people always mistakenly think it's an e-ring though
