Hi Everyone,

I recently joined the forum and I appreciate all the pictures, advice and sharing you all do!

I’m trying to find a review on the Horizon Soft Duffle 55 on either the forums or YouTube without any luck. The reviews I’m finding are on the hard cover luggage. I prefer a softer duffle bag because it’s lighter. I was hoping for some feedback on the pros or cons. I know luggage is far more difficult to maintain than handbags so I just wanted a little feedback on venturing into luggage.

Maybe I’m just using the wrong search terms?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Yes I tried the original monogram and the new thermoformed knit. I loved the original (the knit ones were too difficult for me to zip open and closed) and I think it might be coming out granite which I like better. I just can’t find any reviews online or YouTube so I was seeing if anyone has this and wanted to share their thoughts. Thanks in advance!

I believe that this very much is a niche product. I wouldn't be surprised if the actual sales number for them would only be hundreds worldwide. I don't say that this is a bad product, but Vuitton is really maxing out what it gives for the same premium luggage price.
At the end of the day, this is a big sock on wheels :D

I've been looking at the same luggage. Thanks for the input. "......big sock on wheels" ?? That did it for me.....will keep looking.

Hi! Did you ever end up getting the 55? I was looking at the 65 for road trips only. Wondering what someone thought. TIA

I did…i actually had both 55 and 65
and I loved them. I did end up selling them because at least with the 65 I couldn’t check it so I end up getting a Pegase and Horizon 50 instead. Feel free to reach out with more questions.

That is good to know! I purchased the 65 and regretting it a bit since I have the Horizon 55 and Keepall 45. This would be strictly for road trips only. I am in the NE and packing for a long weekend is tight in the Horizon 55. I thought it would be easier to fit everything in 1 bag. And, the Horizon 70 I feel is just too big and takes up too much space for a long weekend. Always second guessing when I have things that I could make it work. Sorry for rambling!

Definitely not rambling I love talking about LV! I actually agree with you about the 65 maybe I’m an epic over Packer, but I still thought it was hard to fit more than an overnight’s worth of clothes.

Thank you! I am def an overpacker for sure. You never know when traveling what you will need. I know the 65 will hold what i need for a long weekend but always over think things when making a big purchase.

I have the Horizon 55 and my husband has the soft duffel version for himself. He loves it! I prefer the Horizon because it has the 360 wheels. But honestly, he can fit more in the soft sided duffel than in the hard shell Horizon. We do not check bags at the airport, strictly carry on, and both fit neatly in an overhead bin.
