Hi everyone.


I have a coco handle that I would reach for a lot more if the strap was long enough for crossbody.

I’ve been eyeing pre-loved small and medium affinity bags but the specs and pics on Fashionphile are all over the place. I was wondering if the straps on affinity bags are removable and long enough to put on the coco to make it crossbody. I have a classic single flap I wear crossbody, but I’ve found that I really like a top handle option too.

I do like the affinity and would love if I could kill two birds by getting an affinity and having the bonus of using the straps for the coco as well.

I’ve seen that some people get their straps lengthened but I wouldn’t be comfortable doing that.

You can get chain extenders from Amazon. They sell many styles from pearls to aged hardware, etc. I purchased a set of two but I only add to the back side of the bag which allows me to perfectly crossbody the coco handle and the top handle no longer digs into my stomach when I open it. It blends in so well, no one can even tell it's on. I use the aged gold extender on my bag in my user photo.

Thank you. That’s going to be the route I go if I can’t find an “original” strap.

I have a Trendy cc I never used that I would love to extend! Can you send pics how you added yours? :)
