My honest opinion? It's pretty but overdone. I would have never guessed that the center stone was a full carat. The double halo drowns it out and, in my opinion, seems to be trying to over compensate for a small center stone. Since 1ct is by no means a small stone, it doesn't need the huge halo. A beautiful 1ct yellow diamond like that should be allowed to shine on its own or with a very delicate single halo outline. But I've always been partial to simple/solitaire rings. But if you love the double halo, it is quite a pretty and sparkling ring. Good luck deciding!

I'm not a fan of yellow diamonds, but to me the setting is just too much. Whenever I see rings with very ornate pave settings, like the poster above I usually think the buyer is trying to compensate for a center stone that the wearer wishes were larger.
But if you love it go for it.
