These utility inspired watches were always available at different price points and not the province of one particular watchmaker - no matter how much it subsequently became synonymous with.

So long as it's readable, has a reliable mechanism and looks good wear it and be proud.

Not a replica. Lorier is a well-regarded microbrand on the WatchUSeek forum. The look may be inspired by some more well-known and more expensive brands, but what in fashion isn't "inspired"? I think it's very nice looking and it doesn't immediately make me think "Oh, that's a XXXX knock-off!"
