Hmm...Why couldn't they have lined their other bags with suede??!

Hi folks,

Has anyone checked out "THE EAST/WEST TOWN TOTE IN RETRO GLOVE TAN LEATHER" online? It's gorgeous. An open tote, which not everyone might like, but it's lined in a STUNNING baby blue suede. Why can't they line their other expensive bags with this?!!

I haven't seen this in person. Is it actually lined in suede, or is it unlined and the inside is the raw unfinished leather?

My Madison N/S tote in black saffiano leather is "lined" in raw, unfinished leather a la back in the day.

As pretty as it is, I would be scared to death one spill of something or open pen would mar it for life. And if it's open, the rain or snow would ruin it for sure.

My thoughts exactly. It just kills me that Michael Kors has the large Miranda Shopper also suede lined inside and with feet but its just a plain tote and the suede is not a contrast color. If only Coach had adjustable shoulderstraps AND feet this new style would be the talk of the town.

I had a Donna Karan (her high end line, not DKNY) bag that was lined in suede. It looked and felt nice, but it was fairly vulnerable to soiling. It also added weight. I am not saying I dislike the idea of suede linings, but you have to take those things into consideration.

It is lined in suede....it's really gorgeous! I don't mind the open top...in fact I like it..shows off the pretty lining and slg's!

That's lovely! I like how it has the Borough shape, but it doesn't have all those compartments. I know it sounds strange, but I don't need all those sections in my bag. That's too much organization for me.
