HK Hermes TPFers - where to dryclean your H scarves?

I was so excited for you, thinking you have finally come over to the silky side!
OK - I confess. I just bought the Chasse en Inde silk mouselline pochette from one of the Jap ebay sellers. So I've officially moved up the scale from twilly to pocket squares.

I haven't decided if the larger scarves are really my thing but I think we officially turned autumn weather-wise this weekend and I'm dreaming of a cashmere GM shawl - but that has to wait a bit. :push:

Good idea. Helps to get your confidence up. I must admit to never having washed my white scarves myself. Just haven't got them dirty enough yet. But the darker ones and the cashmeres - no probs.

MsP - be brave.

I like handwashing I really think it gives a fresher result and I don't like the chemicals on my silks. I don't even like the perc-free ones.

Maybe just do one and see how you feel???

Pretty! I so wish I am living in a four seasons' climate. I have always love cold weather. The boots, the coats, the gloves, ahhhh.... and the cosy-ing up near the fire place...

LOL fire place... does not exist in HK. But I think I get what you mean. When DH and I visited a friend in a cute little town called Gams in Switzerland, they had a real fireplace. It was snowing outside and despite that, we had an afternoon BBQ and cosied up in the living room. The night after, everywhere was snow covered and everyone simply snow boarded down the slopes and we went snow walking. It was definitely surreal for a summer city girl like me.
