Less is right!! Some of the pieces that I purchased just 2-3 years ago are $300-400 higher now!

i remember in 2006 a LV sales associate said that was more reason to buy now rather than later! she told it to a guy who complained that a wallet he wanted for himself was $80 more some months later.

I've often marvelled at how much LV has gone up:

Mono Speedy 40 in 1996 £265 now £465
Mono Acc Pouch in 1999 £110 now £205
Epi Acc Pouch 2000 £185 now £275
Mono Poche Documents £1996 £150 now £345
Mono Excursion in 2000 £310 before it was discontinued close to £500 if not over.
Damier Ribero in 2004 £405 before it was discontinued £685
Denim Baggy PM in 2005 £585 before it was discontinued £735
Mono Petit Noe in 2000 £350 now £525
Keepall 60 with strap in 2005 £450 now £640
Damier Azur Speedy 30 in 2006 £300 now £435

In Canada, my speedy 25 was $605 + tax in early 2008.

In 2001 I purchased a speedy 25 for $380 and Cabas Piano for $520 and I returned both

Here I have some Dec 2007 prices:
Keepall 45 - £425 -> £610
Small Damier Agenda - £135 -> £190
Pochette Bosphore - £310 -> £450
Magellan Wallet - £195 -> £265

Prices have gone up loads! I am most shocked by the Keepall, £200 ($300) in 2 years!

I have kept a spreadsheet since I started collection LV (only about 3 years ago) so I can see how much I paid for an item. Then every price increase I update it.
