Hi! So i just got the high rise and I am so excited! Love it! Only thing… am I missing something… because the strap doesn’t go short enough to wear around waist/hips. Am I doing something wrong or is that the way it is?

Unfortunately, that is the way it is. They really shouldn't have designed it that way. It would've been nice to have both options. However, because the strap is removable, you can try a shorter replacement strap. Congrats on a great bag...
