I was recently promoted and have decided to treat myself and finally upgrade my bag for work.
I adore the LV Pochette Metis but it is so difficult to get your hands on and I've got my heart set on a new bag rather than pre-loved. I also love the LV speedy but my close colleague carries one every day and I feel as though it would look strange for us to go out for lunch together every day wearing matching bags.

Some of the other ones I've been considering are:
Saint Laurent College
Saint Laurent Loulou
Saint Laurent Shopping Tote
Chloe Faye Day
Gucci Marmont (probably medium?)
LV Neverfull - I tend to lean toward damier, though have previously heard the monogram is softer?

I'd love to know your thoughts on these or some more suggestions?
I tend to be drawn toward slightly smaller bags but also worry whether some of these are too small for work? I usually just carry my purse and a bit of makeup...occasionally bring lunch. For reference I am just under 5'2 and work in a relatively corporate office.

Thank you!!

Congratulations on your promotion!!
I can’t really give you a comprehensive opinion on the Saint Laurent or Chloe bags as am not familiar with those.
But LV, I have a few pieces.
Since you work in a corporate environment, I would suggest going Damier Ebene or full leather rather than Monogram.
Neverfull is a relatively casual bag compared to PM or Speedy so again not sure if that would be a suitable work bag.
Though it is a lot less casual in DE and definitely plenty of space for your items.
Maybe a Montaigne or Speedy in Empriente Noir?

The work bags that I have in mind suitable for corporate offices are Mulberry Bayswater, Givenchy Antigona, SL SDJ, Prada Double Bag to name a few.

Am sure others will chime in with more options and opinions.
You have a fun decision to make, GLD!
