I just bought my first pair in January, telling myself those would be good for at least a year...

Hi Ria, It's so true about the addiction. I just joined this forum late March and I've already bought 6 pairs! Everytime someone posts their pictures, I think "I have to have those!"

For the first pair, go where your heart does! Try a bunch on and look for a snug fit. Don't feel like you have to get a pair of black shoes as your first pair. My first pair was a silver/taupe/grey color, and I bought three other pairs before I got a pair of blacks!
