I don't know the actual name but that little darling can be used as a keychain or a pochette extender. I basically just walk up to the SA and tell her I need a pochette extender keychain and they usually know what you're talking about. Most sellers on ebay also called it the pochette extender as well.

Just for you, I went and measured my pochette strap. The strap is 11" in length (not counting the gold clasp) or 12" (counting the gold clasp).

I read on eLuxury that the handle drop is 5 inches.

I don't like the idea of using an extender though.
