I just had to post this. Last night the boyfriend and I were looking at my dream wedding band with diamonds and pink sapphires (we're not even engaged but maybe soon ) and he asked for the specs, and actually understood them!
lol, if you guys knew my boyfriend you would understand why this amazes me haha. He knows as much about diamonds as i know about football. He told me he kept a little chart on his phone and memorized it, im so proud of him!

I think that once guys get into the whole 4 c's thing, it kind of reminds them of a sport, where you could 'win' or 'lose' based on getting the best stone, and it becomes MUCH more interesting to them! At least that's how it seemed for my DH when he told him about all the rings he had spec'd during his search.
