Normally, I'd put ah HL question in the HL thread, but I need more exposure for an urgent question. Long story short, I sold an HL on an auction site and I'm being scammed. For all of you who own HLs and have had them professionally dry-cleaned, can you please post here how much you pay for dry-cleaning on your dresses? Thanks. Your help is greatly appreciated!!

I gave up on all other cleaners and take all my stuff to Madame Paulette now. there price depends on HL. Regular 1 I pay around $35, the kind with embellishments or food/wine stains $60. http://www.madamepaulette.com/ All the other cleaners would take my $16 and give me back the dress in exact same condition. I really dont think they do anything to it
I forgot about them. I have actually used them before (I was visiting NY and got a spot/stain on one of my HLs and the hotel recommended them). I went to their web site and see that they offer pick-up from anywhere in the US and return delivery. Since my dress has metallic threads that run through it, I wouldn't dare trust it to any of my local dry-cleaners (most of them don't even know what HL is, let alone how to clean them). I learned that lesson the hard way.
