I don't think it's a fair comparison at all. The article throughout goes into Hermés popularity as the "Birkin maker", LVMH doesn't make anything and therefore it's not a reasonable comparison. LVMH are a true parent company that own 75 brands and not all luxury (e.g. Sephora, Fenty Beauty, Make Up For Ever, Benefit).

I didn’t read the article yet but if they’re saying LVMH is No 1 and Hermes is 2nd, that’s insane considering LVMH owns almost every single brand. And Hermes is just Hermes (mostly).
Exactly, just click bait to get LV and Hermes 'fans' clicking the article (not saying LV fans don't know the difference between LV and LVMH).

Robb Report ain't known for covering fashion. They're known for covering luxury. I don't believe they know the difference between LV and LVMH.
