I have two Cape cod GM watches and I went into my store to enquire about buying a double tour strap in another colour.
the options available in store weren't what I was looking for so I asked if I could do a special order (I wanted Raisin or Rouge H ) I was told that SO's weren't available on watch straps so I went to Atelier Jean Rousseau where they will make any watch strap to order in any leather or skin.

For the Cape Cod GM, did you order 19 mm?

I'm delighted with my strap (they were actually recommended by a Hermes watch wearing friend of mine) as I'm in london where they have a store they fitted it on the watch for me but I understand it is very easy to do yourself.
I next have my eye on a matt black croc strap but the choice is mind-blowing!
I purchased the H Heure TGM almost 15 years ago. Funny to see this thread, because I was just on H.com earlier today, looking for additional straps. And there were none. I don’t think mine is a popular size.
i was able to place an order about 3 years ago at my H store for an additional strap. I wanted a double tour, matte alligator in Havane, and they did order it for me.
I also ordered a custom non H strap from a place in Paris called ABP concept. That one was a pink double tour croc.

I do find it confusing when measuring. For example, when I measure my watch, I get 22mm for the width of the top of the band. But Hermes lists my strap as 23mm wide. I know it’s only a millimeter different. But still. It’s very hard to know. I do wish more choices were readily available from Hermes to take out the guesswork

Oh, and one more thing. When I originally bought my watch, the straps were not interchangeable. Now they are.
Maxroxxherhandbags, does the strap that you ordered from Jean Rousseau have the quick release lugs bars, that allow you to take the strap on and off yourself?
Edited to add: Not sure if that is even an option for the Cape Cod? I just know the interchangeable strap is applicable to the H Heure models...

I have a nantucket and cape cod. Both have the interchangeable straps. That was a big plus for me otherwise I may not have purchased them. I have purchased extra croc straps for my nantucket. My sa had to order them. Took 5 or 6 months but I did receive them in the colors, skin and gold I wanted. When I ordered my SO cape cod this year, I had same discussion with my sa about ordering more straps for it and she said she would to let her know what colors and leather. I have yet to do this but hopeful it's still possible.
I have two now. The first one id the HH1.510 and I have the strap replacement tool with it. I spoke to Hermes today regarding a strap and mentioned the tool and the lady told me, it's not required for strap replacement. There is a catch on the pin, you just need to pull.
Great to know as I just received my new Hermes stainless steel Swift 22mm Nantucket Dual watch today and the watch strap is way too small. It came with a taupe-colored leather strap. I have contacted Hermes to see if they have a longer strap, but there are none in stock. But, someone is to get back to me tomorrow. However, I went online to try to find some other options and it was a mess of a situation. Then, it hit me that I should have just checked here in the first place. I hope I can get a strap as I would hate to have to return the watch as I really love the watch. But, a 5.5-inch watch strap is ridiculous. I personally don't know anyone with a wrist that small. Does anyone know what size watch band fits this watch? Is it 10mm or maybe 11mm?

Each watch has a couple of color optiond that you can order from directly from Hermès ( you can check the pdf file I have attached).
You can also order a customized strap from other shops like Atelier Jean Rousseau or Delugs strap.
Thanks for the information. I e-mailed Jean-Rousseau this morning and was contacted back quite fast. I took measurements of my watch, but there were around 2-3 parts of the watch that were too small for me to accurately measure. I was contacted that measurements of those parts are also needed. I'll try to remeasure those parts when I have time.
As for Hermes, I called yesterday and was told a salesperson would contact me within 24 hours, but I've yet to be contacted and it's late afternoon. If I can't get this watch band situation straightened out soon, then the watch will be returned.
I'm not sure where your local store is, but you may want to try a larger metro store. I couldn't find a white watchband for my Cape Cod in my local store in single or double tour. When I went to the NYC store on Madison, however, I not only found both in many sizes, but they had many other colors as well compared the the very limited selection in my local store.
