Hi girls,
I'm thinking of purchasing a Birkin from an individual seller which is very risky. Do you guys recommend that I go to the store with the seller for a spa for the bag? So if the store accepted the bag, the bag is definitely authentic?

Do the boutiques ever mistakenly accept a fake Birkin for spa?

There is an extensive thread on spa here. However, Hermes does not authenticate bags and unless the bag really does need spa service/refurbishment, they will turn you away. Please consider having it professionally authenticated.
