Hermes SMAC Bag (Limited Edition)... a definite keeper?

I’m all for ‘different’ bags (I almost bought a toupet myself), but this one is not my cup of tea. At first glance it looked like a golf bag. Would you even have considered it if it wasn’t from Hermes?
I do like the combination of Ostrich top with black ‘box’ calf body, but that’s it.

I owned this and loved it. Mine was the same as this, except the ostrich was red. The interior leather was so soft, lamb I think. If I could find it again with the red ostrich, I might be tempted. Btw the opening is quite wide, it expands.

A little awkward true, but I really enjoyed carrying her, a nice break from my Kelly or Birkin.
