Hi All!

I am new to the world of Hermes. I was told that there are certain dates when Hermes holds sales at various locations across the world (the dates will be different for different places). I was wondering if anyone has any information on these sales such as
1. When are these sales typically held?
2. What are the locations these sales are held (so far I have heard of Toronto, Paris, London and NYC)?
3. Is it open to the public or is it invite only?
4. If its invite only, how do you ask/ get invited to the sale?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and much love xx

I only have experience with the London sale, so:
- This year was the first sale held in London in quite a while, it lasted 1 week at the end of September;
- Invites were sent from various sources: Hermès corporate, store managers, and the organising company who has their own mailing list. The first 2 seemed a bit random in terms of who got invited, but if you’re in the UK you can sign up to Arlettie (the organiser) and they will let you know the next time there is a sale
Invites (along with IDs) were required to attend the sale.

Thank you so much for the information. I am currently based in Canada. So the closest sales would be either the NYC sale or the Toronto sale. I heard news that the Toronto sale is November 5 and 6 but I am not quire sure.

I can’t speak for your area but in the past my invites have always been sent from my SA/SM of the store I shop in.
for the recent London sale they also sent invites via a private company who organised the event.
I don’t know wether they will outsource the organisation and invitations of the sale going forward or globally.
personally I much preferred it when invitations were purely from Hermes client list. It made it less of a bun fight.

Although, I see your point about the sales being less of a war, I do appreciate that they open the sales to the public.

1. The issue with invite only sales is that in areas where there isn't a dedicated store, but say a department in a much larger department store like Harrods or here in Canada, I don't know how the invite would go out.
2. Also new shoppers like me who haven't had the opportunity to build a profile in store would miss out on an invite. I moved to Canada 3 months ago. While I have a (small) store profile in my previous country of residence, I was told that Hermes doesn't have a global client/customer list so my previous purchase history wouldn't count towards my profile in the Canada store.

If you shopped in a Hermes department (concession) within a store such as Harrods or Holt Renfrew in Canada your invitation would come from Hermes just the same as if you shopped in a standalone boutique

Oh thats perfect ... I've been not going into Holt Renfrew bec among other things I didn't know if it would count towards my purchase history/ profile in the store! Thanks for clearing that up!
