I ordered a 34 but holy moly, for me they are still massive at the waist - by 2 inches or so. I also agree with the sentiments above that tailoring alternations should be minor, so these are potentially a return in any event, unless I can find a 32 (which is unbelievable for me to say...). They are also of course long in the leg, even though I am 5ft 7 and wearing 3.5 inch heels in these pics!!!

P.S. I normally by RTW in store, so imagine my giggle at the delivery of a box which is almost my height - only this group would understand :smile:

My vote is to keep the pants, get rid of the box

I was finally able to get them in our local store and they will make the required adjustments to perfectly fit my wife. Thank you for the recommendation.

I loved it bc it was so different from the patterns H issues today. DH and SA dissuaded me bc there was no way to hem without losing some pattern. But, I had a feeling my third party professional tailor might have been able to finagle a solution.

ETA: incidentally, my Madison SA wanted me to buy the ebene version, not the taupe. (I think she’s just tired of etoupe and gold) She thought ebene was more unusual. But I didn’t— I have a washed BdG ebene scarf 90 that I almost never wear.
