Is anyone else contemplating the lamb leather pants? I have older Chanel lamb leather RTW and it is durable and gets better with age. And, I love the dropped yoke of these. But the price is as high as leather jackets from this collection. . . I guess it will depend on how they fit. If anyone has tried them on, I would love to see an action pic.

ETA: I doubt I will get them at this price point unless I put them on and a miracle happens, but never say never lol
I only have two pairs of leather pants in my forever wardrobe. One is a Chanel and one a dolce and gabbana unico made for the opening of the Madison Avenue store. Both are twenty plus years old and in perfect condition. So, this could be a forever garment for me (or so is my internal argument lol)

I've been thinking about them too! I heard they're doing a lambskin pair in this style and in the bootcut style. I want to try them both on to see how they fit.

Hermes garment bags are cotton & it is just something that I do to take care of my cashmere
coats..
I've followed museum guidelines for proper storage of designer garments for a period of time now
I felt like the garment bag I got with my Hermes cashmere coat was maybe too rough/abrasive for the coat going in and out frequently so I put the coat in a Burberry garment bag that is probably some artificial fabric. Should I move it back? Do I not need to worry about the cotton rubbing on the cashmere? Thanks for your info!

A natural fabric is better to allow the garment to breathe!

I look forward to seeing your mod shots
I've always wanted beautiful leather pants but they're never styled in a way that flatters my body type so I'll live vicariously through you!

I have also been staring at them and I also have an issue with a 10k item that is not a jacket or something else I consider timeless and won't get tired of. They will need to be really comfortable and flattering. I am leaning towards a "no" but will try them on. I have a pair of craie colored leather pants (not H), I wear those a good amount but they are one tenth of the price if not less so no tears shed if one day I decide I hate them. My theory is that there are items that are noticeable when you wear them and leather pants are one of them. If you constantly show up in black leather pants, it becomes your redundant and eventually boring style vs for example showing up in the same skinny jeans. No one will pay attention. That means I only get to wear something like this a few times. Not sure if bringing across what I am trying to say well.

I was also contemplating these but they have this gorgeous bomber leather jacket that is about the same price. But I've been reluctant to get leather pants/shorts because I have a pair of shorts that got so wrinkled where the pants fold when sitting and not sure how to get those wrinkles out! It's so unsightly!

Do you have any other leather shorts or pants from H and if so do you have any problems with the wrinkling?

I have my eye on a rouge sellier jacket about the same price. Are your leather shorts lamb leather? Bc my Chanel lamb skirt doesn’t wrinkle…. Nor do my lamb pants. But they are pretty thick and solid. The only other leather bottom I have from Hermes is a mosaic embossed pattern skirt. No wrinkles.

@OnlyModa , if they are the perfect pants, I will wear them a lot, and plan on doing so for the next few decades lol  otherwise I wouldn’t get them.

ETA: unlike other TPFers, I also have had luck with lamb leather chanel bags. I used them and they just got more soft and lustrous with age. (they are in my moms closet now ) i wouldn’t get anything lamb if they wrinkled and deformed. ETA: also have a dior lamb skirt — no wrinkles. If this lamb is soft, thin, delicate, I will definitely pass

That's good to know about lamb! I don't believe the shorts are lamb leather, will have to check.

Do you mean this jacket? This is the one I'm eyeballing as well in Rouge Sellier. Luckily my boutique will get 1 in my size! If you get a chance to try it on, would love to hear your feedback.

I have avoided leather bottoms because I thought, perhaps mistakenly, t. hat they tend to stretch out at the knee and become baggy there ???
I asked. I didn’t really get an answer. What I think is, if they are lined and if they aren’t stretched to fit like a slim glove (like leather legging or Jean style we all wore years ago) or even like shoes, they shouldn’t stretch too much. My dolce unico leather joggers are not tight fitting. While they have relaxed a bit, they haven’t bagged out or deformed. And my Chanel lamb leather RTW is not forgiving. I wish they had bagged out a bit lol. However, I could tell that my SA felt like a jacket would be a better use of the money (without her actually coming out and saying that). What she did say is, if money were not an issue, and one only wanted one pair of leather pants, these or the bootcut version should be high on the list

I also ordered a men’s silver blouse, with what we think are medor buttons. 2525USD.
Tried on a rouge sellier long coat that was too big everywhere but the midsection; whose waist and pockets were too low;
And that did not fit in many other ways. Prices are high 16,700USD which is more than I want to spend on
one, limited use item

Has anyone seen this blazer in a store? I think someone posted it here a while ago, I thought after seeing it at a trunk show.

This was first seen in NY at the Spring/March ? Resee (trunk show or whatever they called it) Then it appeared briefly on a mannequin in the Madison window. The shoulder on this jacket is very rounded; the waist is long; the ticket and reg pockets are low (the latter of which will elongate the torso and shorten the leg) This might make it challenging for some to wear (it did not work on me; and if I find an action pic, I will post it).

New obsession- silk pajama pants!! These just got delivered! They are so soft and comfortable. They are pull on, and have an elastic section in the back part of the waist band. I asked for a different top to go with the cropped pants but they didn't have it and my SA suggested the matching top. Both are 36- slightly oversized and incredibly comfortable. It really feels like I'm wearing silk pajamas LOL! The tank is actually this season's cashmere bodysuit and I think the color I have is a dark brown. The bottom is brief style so there is no wedgie action. There is also a separate collar that can be purchased to match but it was not available at the time. The mosaic pants are clearly too long on me but I thought I would show the full length for other shorties out there. I am 5'2" and I'm wearing 3.5" heels!! The model online shows them pooling at her ankles, so I think they're meant to be a little longer, but obviously these are a hazard at this length on me LOL!
