LOL! The answer is yes. Only because I already want too many and so I hardly buy outside of my "want" list. And I do declare my desire for certain combos before podium. And so yes, the box would only have my name on it. My SA has gotten used to not offering me bags that I had not expressed interest in.

Ah. Well, I think that is totally fair and just. So is taking a bag home to figure out if it works for you outside of pressure, in your own house, modeling for DH etc.

^^ I can't speak for other customers. Enamels get scratched very very easily. So, I would be very careful. My enamels also come in shrink-wrapped boxes.

Thanks everyone for an interesting discussion. I appreciate all the PMs from members who said they have learned from the discussion. I have too. I started this thread because these are issues that have been simmering for a long time and many members I've had one-on-one conversations with (via PM or in person) have raised. No judgments made. Hope everyone continues to enjoy their Hermes.

I think this thread has been great. It brought light to one very significant point which has been pointed out by others. There is probably a certain level of tolerance to how the bag is treated before it's returned. Respect the next customer and be considerate. That's not hard to do.
