hermes picotin

hi, ladies, im new to hermes, this will be my first hermes bag, i'm thinking about getting a picotin, i tried to look up for the price at the "current price" thread, but couldn't find much info on this bag, do they still make this bag?? how much and how many sizes ? Also I want to know if I need to preorder the bag and wait or I can just walk in and buy one, wonder if the demand for this bag is as high as the other popular ones, ie: birkin, kelly lindy.

Hi and welcome; I have a Picotin PM (small) and I love it as my 'worry-free bag!' There are different sizes; extra small, small, medium and large and they are certainly available, but depends from store to store. They are a lot easier to come by than Kelly's or Birkins, but again it depends on color, leather etc. Check out the 'Ode to the Picotin' thread, it's in the 'Hermes Clubhouse' section (sorry, don't know how to make a link ). thanks so much for the response tae! i plan to get my first hermes bag and the picotin lock is a good option, its affordable and it can be use when dress up or down . I'm checking the thread out now, thanks so much = )

They've also been available on H.com. There isn't one on there at the moment but you could keep checking.

A TGM (Tres Grand Model) is also available. It's HUGE!

I know I am a disenting opinion but I have a black TGM Picotin and my friend has an etoupe TGM. We love the bags. I often use mine when I travel for work...it is not hard to pack....and I love it for casual weekend wear. I am only 5'2" and 105lbs but I do not find the bag to be that huge.

You might also try some of the reputable resellers. They sometimes have picotins available and usually at better prices.
