when I receive the items she sent me I check myself and it's obvious fake cause I my self have the same buckle in the same size but different pattern....the quality is very poor, and it's very heavy different from the one I have, it has a Hermes embossed but the engraved is very messy looking carve, and it doesn't have embossed/engraved made in italy/france/etc which usually always had on an Authentic belt buckle H constance
When I contacted her she claimed that her items Authentic, I asked her once about the duct protector cause it look suspicious before I made an offer to her and she told me that when she bought the items didn't come with dust protector and then she use the other protectors for other hermes item. Bur even when I check the protectors it was very very poor garment and quality, garment very tough not as flexible as the authentic dust bag protectors. So I brought the buckles to my regular SA at near by Hermes boutique in my location, cause I knew if I bring that to him he won't report it to paris and sent it there (obviously it will destroyed) I cannot get my money back then...but know this SA know me really well cause he know I am one of their VIP that collect and use HERMES items, so he is pleased to authenticate the items for me and he's thought was same with me that those items is fake.
So I contact her tight away and her defence was she just a seller not an authenticator (which is silly to say) but I said it's still wrong because as far as I know before you list any item on eBay you have commitment that Forgery is illegal and forbidden by law etc (sorry perhaps the words I used is not the same), so she obligated to know that items she sold or will sell is authentic
Then she also asked me to check her reviews and feedback then I reply it's not fair if I have take some else words which I cannot verified, but
Anyway thankfully I ask her nicely to refund my paypal payment or else I am going to open a case for her account and leave negative feedback, then she willingly to refund my money and I sent back the buckle to her as soon as I receive my money back.
I learn something from this, even and online shopping web as save as eBay there's always people/person who still doing fraud by selling fake items and claimed it's Authentic.....whether it's their intentions or not it is still a fraud for a buyer, who actually trussed the seller to gave them as what they state and promised in the items descriptions.
But NO BODY is perfect....obviously!!! So am I.....
Even my husband said it could happen to anyone even like collectors like me, and just suggesting to be more careful and ask more questions before I bid or make an offer or buy it now on something at eBay (even though I think I already did that xixixi....)
