Bag in Box calfskin

- Dual-finish clasp
- Interior pocket for credit cards
- Back pocket
- Interior gusset
- Lining in lambskin
- Adjustable shoulder strap with 3 positions and metal and leather buckle
- Can be carried by hand, worn over the shoulder or across the body

Alas, no dimensions were actually shown on the page. What are your thoughts on the Mallette? Yay, nay, maybe?

I’m on the maybe side. I like the design of the buckle and the shape but I’m intrigued on how modifiable the strap is.

That being said, at that price point for the box version it’ll probably be a pass for me.

I like the design of the buckle and the shape as well, but not a fan of the shoulder strap.
I kept thinking if Hermes makes a clutch version of this bag (no shoulder strap, and configure it into a thinner clutch size with the external pocket and inner packet), I would LOVE to get it!

I love the bag in the black and white pics, but I hate the TT H clasp

Agree with @Amka re the shoulder strap. I dislike straps that come out
the sides this way (I make a grudging exception for the so Kelly elan bc I love that bag
(But I love the so Kelly elan despite disliking most of its qualities: depth - size ratio; shape; strap; lack of a top handle)
So I’ve realized it’s always possible to fall in love with something that you are positive you will hate — once you see it irl

It's too small for my life but I like its shape and the apparently adjustable strap. Clearly I'm in the minority as I really dislike the buckle but then I also dislike the Constance because of the giant H.

I must admit I had an instant reaction of revolt when I saw the gold/pal versions. I think the clasp will look better IRL. I think it's cool it's two-tone, gives it a modern edge. I hope it comes in different sizes.

It wasn't uncommon to have these kinds of 'double' straps in the mid-20th C. I like it has bucket rather than the vintage ball and slit that were really stiff and cumbersome. I would think the strap will fall better when the bag ifs full and when worn, all we can (can't) see here are brand new bags with matching stiff, new straps held up by slack transparent plastic loops on a product, white background shoot.

I believe it's the lighting which makes it look single tone. As the same bag from the runway was shown at resee as dual tone. 😬

It's a no from me. It only looks good in the grey epsom leather, imo. The hardware looks garish on the black and red Box leather, whilst the cool muted grey and the matte leather dims the hardware and makes it look more elegant.
It also looks extremely small, more of a wallet on a strap or a phone pouch than a bag.

A definite no for me.
