Hi ! Just want ask re: inventory level at Hermes in Lonon? DH is going for business trip, and would like him to check out the stores for me. Which store has the best inventory and service (he is staying at Mandarin)? I note that it is very hard to score a birkin in UK as a walk-in, is that true?

Unfortunately, yes it is hard to score a Birkin as a walk in, I was in London last week and in general their inventory looked very low even on basics such as clic clacs. Having said that you never know when luck is on your side. He would have to frequent the stores (if he has the patience) and leave his details with a nice SA to give him a call if something comes in. It always helps if you are very flexible about colour, hardware and leather.
