Hermes Las Vegas

I'm sorry you did not have a good experience at Hermes Las Vegas Joanna! But I am glad you and your husband had a wonderful time and you got to enjoy yourselves. I'm going there mid-June and I will also let you know what happens. I liked the pictures you took of the store! I was looking for the SAs in the pics, LOL, so I know who to avoid

Unfortunately, the nice old lady Baggaholic mentioned, who was super nice, wasn't there. I think I saw her as I passed the store once. She had a nicely styled shoulder length grey hair. You should look for her. Of the two Asian ladies, the shorter one was one who helped me.

joanna,
what time were you there??? i was there around 10:30-11 a.m.! how funny to think that we were possibly there at the same time!!!

OMG!!

I was there right before noon. Just missed you by an hour!! LOL
JUST IMAGINE if we were there together!
You would have definitely remembered me if you saw what happened... and a crazy girl take pictures inside the store. LOL

there was a man and a woman out front taking photos- must have been someone else!
i was helped by a very nice african-american lady, who joyously sold me two scarves and let me "try on" the blue jean kelly! i wish you could have hooked up with her!

It was quite an experience Fesdu.. btw what does Fesdu mean? LOL very interesting screen name!!!
Joanna
hehe i know my screename sounds wacky..
Fesdu is the name of an island in Maldives. I am going over there this year. To me it equals to paradise ..(They are finishing up building W hotel there...*drool*)

Wow that's deplorable their behavior. I was there last October and while they were not rude they were not especially helpful. They didn't have wallets and no handbags to show. I had way more fun at Chanel across the hall.

I am so sorry you had such a horrible experience at the store! I have to say that one of the most positive experiences I had in Hermes was at that very store! I guess its all in the SA you deal with. The girl I spoke with was so nice and chatted with me for quite some time despite the fact that all I bought was a charm. I am glad you had a good vacation and actually came close to breaking even! That is a big deal! We always wind up loosing any money we gamble!

I agree completely!! There is no reason for sales people to be snooty!! They have a job because you are there as a customer. If the customers didn't come in the store then they wouldn't have a job. I guess in Las Vegas they know that someone will come in and drop thousands soon so they aren't worried about us "little people". Those people should NOT work retail!!

Wow Joanna, I'm sorry you were treated this way. I used to be like Baggaholic and walk in as if I owned the store. YOU are the customer, therefore YOU are getting served. But ever since Hermes for some reason, I became a huge chicken. Gotta get the b*tchiness back! Haha.

Congratulations to your husband! I can't believe it was basically a free trip for you. How did you get complimentary rooms/spa service, if you don't mind? I've never been to Vegas, though after watching the Bellagio video from their site, now I'm sorely tempted!!

Oh boy I wish I met her too.
I think I would have had a great time.
When we were at the store, it was completely empty. No one was inside, no one came in or out.

That was with me too!
I really liked the Chanel store across the hall! LOL

I don't get intimidated no matter where I go...
Sometimes it's scary because I act out of place without knowing, and I don't get discouraged much.
(ignorance sure is bliss in these occasions, or I'd always stay home in embarrassment) But I lack the "*****y attitude" because I tend to smile all the time... and my voice is very girly

First off, you have to sign on with their player's card club at the casino. Then hand the card at the table you play, or stick it into the slot machine. They calculate the table play and the slot machine play separately. You have to play a minimum amount of bets and they time you. The longer you play, the more points you get and they have this equation. Afterwards, they take care of your restaurant bills, room service, and hotel rooms...depending on how much you spend/make... and how long you played.

This is truly awful, joanna!!!!
I feel so terrible for u. So SAs are just sooo horrible, i guess they tend to think that they are god or something but just working in Hermes!!!!

Maybe next time u should talk to the manager directly. In fact, i often visit that particular store, and the manager Ryan there, was very helpful. I did not purchase a lot over there, but he was very kind and my birkin order is with him.

I also love the chanel store in vegas. Lots of inventories every time i go. Great experience.

As I have said before on this forum in reference to Hermes...there is no possible excuse for how they treat people. I blame it first on management. If that is your store you are responsible for each and every employees' behavior. If it is not up to par, it is your job as manager to rectify it. If you can not do that then you must make decisions on whether to keep the employee. No one should ever leave Hermes feeling anything but wonderment for the experience. What has it bcome when the high end boutique is treating people as such?

It really saddens me and I have had the same feeling walking out of Hermes years back having been treated poorly. NO EXCUSE!

You are a better person and keep your head up!!!

I wish I had talked to the male manager or the old lady SA too~

However, I love the Chanel boutique there. They had a lot of stuff on inventory!!
