Hermes keys and locks numbers.

Hello,

Apologies if I have posted in the wrong thread firstly.

I was browsing in the Hermes Authentication site and came across a Birkin being authenticated {it was authentic] which had the same number as I have on my Birkin lock and keys.

Could anyone please enlighten me as I a new to Hermes, whether Hermes use the same numbers on a number of the locks and keys.
