I don't know about the Milan store but I bought a 35cm vert anis togo Birkin a couple of weeks ago in the Florence H store.It was not on the shelf though.I looked around,bought a couple of horn items,and then asked.I was also wearing lots of H on me but don't know if that helped(?).Good luck in Milan.
