I was on Amazon.com looking for a book on Hermes, but in my listings their fragrances came up. Listings by several companies came up, including through Amazon. Are these the genuine fragrances?
Seems like a deal ... could not find anything posted before. Just wanted to check before I bought. Thx

be very careful. There are some online shops that have new tester fragrances at discounts but a lot of the designer fragrances at discount prices are not authentic. Can you check the seller's feedback? Sometimes there will be hundreds of positive comments and 1 negative (likely from an experienced shopper or frequent user of a certain fragrance) who says that the fragrance is not authentic.

The safest way is to buy direct. But paying full price is no fun, I know. :p

Fragrances have a shelf life of about two years (some experts say less) before the quality starts to deteriorate.

Shops that have been stuck with overstock after the slump in retail last winter could be offering their older fragrance inventory online at a deep discount because soon it will (or has already started to) "go bad".

Amazon is the site and also the secondary seller. So they are direct from Amazon. Their are secondary sellers like 99Fragrances...but I would prefer Amazon. So I think the risk is the shelf life. I think I will try it. They have good reviews. I think I'll give it a shot. Thanks so much for both of you getting back 2 me. Many thx
