Hermès featured in Charlotte newspaper article

  1. I got an email today from my wonderful SA in Charlotte telling me about an article in the Charlotte Observer about the Charlotte H boutique and Hermès. The article is available online... I believe copyright law will allow me to post a tiny bit of it. The entire article is at this link:

This link shows pictures and a slide show! Enjoy!

...... "Hermès, the 137-year-old company that once outfitted horse-drawn coaches in Paris, joined the lineup of luxury stores in SouthPark mall's Neiman Marcus wing on Dec. 18.

On Thursday, the retailer will host an invitation-only grand opening party at the store, followed by a dinner at a private residence, to benefit Opera Carolina.

To commemorate the Charlotte store opening, Hermès printed a limited edition scarf that features an archived design based on Puccini's opera "Turandot." The words "Opera Carolina 2007" have been incorporated along the right side of the scarf. There are 100 in blue and 100 in pink. Ten percent from each sale will be donated to the opera company." .....

  2. GREAT article !! Thanks for sharing !!
  3. Fabulous article; I'd love to see a picture of the scarf.

  4. Does anyone have the Turandot scarf photographed so we can see all the detail?
  5. Your wish is my command!!:p It's the 2nd slide in the slide show link.
  6. That's a great article, thanks for sharing. I was very happy to see my new scarf edge on the photo - the Champs de Courses, shown in lilac/lavender - I have this one in gold.
