Hermes Fall Winter Ads

hi ladies, i've been active in the chanel forum but this is my first post here. have often wondered what all the hoopla was for hermes but couldn't get into any of the bags till i flipped through Sept Vogue on the plane ride yesterday and saw this ad for the croc Lindy. i thought the high elevation was what made me swoon but i woke up this mornng still dazed over it...the fact that i woke up thinking about it is a little disturbing!

do any of you know how big this bag is and how difficult it would be to get it? after seeing just a picture of this bag, i now know why hermes is the holy grail after one has been through all of the other designers...

PL is a god. Having said that, I thought that the ad campaign from 2000 that Phillippe Cometti shot was their best one in the last 10 years
