Tysm! I didn’t realize that the middle pictures were cw 4, but now I can see it! Tbh, a bit underwhelming.
Cw4 is a softer beauty than others. The celadon? (I’m awful with naming colors) pop is magic on it. The main reason I bought it. That color in it is its own version of drama within the cw. And the icy blue and soft peach was a total winner “on me”. The poppy color border cw is wayyyy more dramatic. And obv the dark one is very dramatic. Perhaps you like more drama in a silk than 4?

I did love it from the website pictures but from your real life pictures, the petrol cw speaks more to me.
I do love a soft colored scarf but somehow here the „saumon“ pop somehow throws me off. I am happy to hear that it is a winner on you! I’ll look forward to more of your mod shots!

The Petrol is gorgeous!
And I was way off, it’s a yellow in cw 4 haha. I just took it out of box again

Update- the petrol Selene did not work on DD 😥. So now I have to decide which one to keep for myself. I played with them all today and the petrol is not awesome on me. It’s a 10/10 design cw for sure but not on me for whatever reason and I just don’t think I’d wear much or reach for it much with my closet wardrobe. So I’ll be returning it. The light blue is best and the kaki I’m still deciding.
Here is where corail kaki lays in my collection.
I laid out my orange femme with these which is in the sell pile. Just as an orange silk for reference.

I dont have anything like the blue Selene in my collection. So it’s a great addition.
I think I can let the corail kaki Selene go don’t you? At these prices I need to make sure it’s worth it.

I am sharing a few quick photos of Rendez-vous chez Hermès CSGM.

It just arrived and I need to try with my wardrobe but my first instincts are sadly to return.

I love the design, some of the details ( the dog, the leopards 😍), the black hem and in theory these pinks, browns and yellows are some of my favourite colours.

However I find the colours not bright enough for me and I dislike the natural background colour. I will give it a few days though and I suspect it will look perfect on some of you.

The petrol would look really great @Jacq1. FWIW, I was initially surprised at how muted the colors are even on that CW. Thinking of @Lellabelle ‘s thoughts on the “burning bright” Tyger, I’m now really curious on how bright vs muted those CWs will turn out.

I agree with you on the naturel background that H is using on so many scarves now. It does create a dulling effect. I have one scarf with that background and I don’t want anymore.
i agree! i’m new to the hermes scraves and i love the csgm because its more practical for me

but the prints on the silk 90s are so more more captivating!

the csgm which my local store has are mostly with the naturel background too

Quandry...isn't it? Both are great. The corail is different than those you are going to let go, but the real test is: when it is on, and you look at yourself wearing it, do you "brighten up"? In the original pictures, it did look so good. It could be a great addition but only if you will reach for it. And that is something that only you know. I believe the return window is approx 30 days? Maybe put it away for some days, and then go back to it and see what your first feeling is when you see it? Or see if you think about it while it is boxed up during the "cooling off" period? I do think both look lovely on you, but it isn't my opinion that counts ;)

Of the two contenders, I prefer the blue/salmon Selene on you - there’s a brightening softness on you, and it’s the more unique of the two in your collection. I really liked the kaki/corail on you too, but if you feel you can/should only keep one, I agree with your preference.

I just unboxed the petrol Selene and I think I may end up returning it. I love the little pops of purple and the bright centre around the moon but it doesn’t make my heart leap with joy. I also have the blue and brown cw of Le Premier Chant. I’ll try to take photos and play with it again tomorrow.
