Although I would have liked to have options for stronger colors and especially a hem not white, I like the blue and that the ‘beige’ is more gold/toffee than I had feared from the photos. And off couse all the crazy animals!!!!!
It reminds me if the blue/green cw of animapolis (photo below) which I use a lot, and I hope this will get same kind of rotation.

They had none of the new designs to compare with in the shop - only this which I had orderrd from the website and picked up a few days later. I will await descisions on Selene or additionals cws of Academia untill I can see the colors for real.

Wow @HermesEchidna ! Thanks so much for the tying/modeling of this cw. It was one I was considering after my rose bonbon one went back. Your addition of Animapolis cw 08 to compare was genius! That was one of three cws I got of Animapolis. I have worn it quite a bit, and the new Academia is similar in vibe.

I think you look great in the Azure cw of Academia. It goes with your coloring so well. You’ve helped me decide about it too, as I’d hoped it would work. My coloring is different and I can tell it won’t look good on me. But I do think it suits you perfectly!

@giulai - you’ve made me so happy tonight!!! I will not be ordering from Japan, I will wait for the UK website (and I have bugged my SA enough times already so I am sure she will let me know as soon as they appear), but I was desperate to see the CWs. I am truly happy at the moment! Thank you!

It’s days a check multiple Times different sites for the cws 😂🫶🏻 Soni totally understand and I immediately shared the link! I would like to wait to see it in person in Italy, by now my fav is the pink and then the one with yellow borders

I have been studying the earlier (low quality) pictures so hard🤯🤯🤯 - and for a moment today, I thought about Japan, but instead scrolled through Spore and the Middle-East. My first choice is also the pink - even though it isn’t usually my style. But as my wardrobe is 70% olive-green, 30% black, it will certainly work (I want them for the splash of color). I love the black - but hate the white hem😣

Thank you, Cedar. That pink hem is delicious, isn't it? And, the mobile sculpture is so pretty in the yellow. Confession, I love mobiles. We purchased this one from an artist at an art fair decades ago, and it hangs in my house and delights me still.
