Well, I think Ugo is going to be doing a lot of work for H still - those of us who think we are going to collect "everything Gattoni" may all have withering money trees......!!

Thank you, I had to buy A Travers Champs (was hesitant with cw 22, and the 17 is wonderful IRL) probably because I am from Auvergne :)
And a part of these extinct volcanoes (Chaîne des Puys/Faille de Limagne) is newly listed on UNESCO's World Heritage sites.

What I saw last night: red cw03, blue cw05, turquoise cw07, pale blue cw14, pale mauve cw16. I was tempted by 05 because the blue-green cloud was gorgeous and 03 because papertiger is gorgeous :P, but bronze and prussian blue in 07 won my heart.

I loved it when I saw IRL too... it is a stunning color combo. Perfect choice!

The contrast hem is white, and contrary to what it may look like in my poor pics, there's very little actual black, all shades of greys, all shades of strong pinks and on the petals the pink turns to mauve to prune. There's even a silver optical illusion to some of the spots ad leaves so this could be a great scarf to wear with heavy silver jewellery or bag (of which I own plenty). it look magnificent with my gunmetal metallic (BV) hobo. There's clear magenta in may outlines lines too.

Obviously this is going to look great with any grey or black suit (of which I have several) the scarf is anything but formal, it's totally unapologetic in its whimsy and 'femininity' so a spritz of Rose Amazone and I'm ensured respect (hoping). I also think this will be a great one to wear with an LBD at cocktail hour (or any hour) or an all black beat(nik) look. Apart from shades of denim and aubergine (which I have now changed into) I can't see me with many colours beyond neutrals and darkest incarnations of inky colour but I may dare with a brighter or olive green.

In pic 3 I was trying to be the cat in the flower (I asked my cats to model but they were too busy, one nonchalantly clawing my velvet piano stool right in front of me and the other sorting out his sail of a tail = such are striped cats but it would have looked cute)

I tried to do a close up of the painterly petals in pic 2 but it's very hard to capture. Colours best in pic 4. If you like to wear your scarves like ties or your tails (NPI) to the front I think this is a great design, likewise if you like cats and don't mind wearing them. I think if anyone is thinking about hiding the cat (as someone already said to me) it's not the scarf for you,
