I think it depends on your every day look. To me, the Evelyn is very casual especially with that strap. The PM can be casual and more dressy so I think it’s more versatile. I prefer the PM.
LV for sure, the open top on the Hermès is annoying with small things falling out.Also think the PM is much prettier.
As lovely as the Evelyne is, I own two PMs (reverse mono and marine rouge emperiente) for a reason. Fantastic bag, plus it can be closed and can be dressed up or down.
I own the Evelyne and love that bag but find the size too small and the GM too big. It’s size makes it hard to hold much of anything bigger than a small wallet. For example tough to fit in a makeup bag beyond a few small items. . Wish there was a middle size. The LV is on my list also.
The PM in any colourway in leather or in mono/mono reverse. I have the PM in mono and love it. I hate the evelyne, I don't get the hype with much of hermes' bags, tbh.
Evelyne PM. It’s my most used Hermes bag. It fits close to the body. It’s deep and secure for me. Easy access to keys and phone in the exterior pocket. The leather is luscious too. I can fit all of my belongings (small wallet, small cosmetic case, reading glasses, sunglasses, 16 oz water bottle, tissues, mints, keys, iPhone, LV key pouch) and still have room for a scarf without it bulging.
