Dear Hermes Lovers,

I'm so torn and looking for a bit of advice. I currently own an Evelyne GM in Bleu Hydra, which I just think is a magically vibrant blue. I also own a Double Sens in Bleu Electric with graphite (Grey ) inside. I think the Bleu Electric just such a cool color, and I love it. I'm wanting to buy a bag in Bamboo because that color is just straight up awesome and makes me so happy. Anyway, I'm thinking of selling one or possibly both of these bags. I also have an Orange GM, Black PM, Etoupe PM in Evelyne and I own a Rose Sakura & Bouganvillier and a Magnolia Double Sens - both pinks, I know. Anyway, I got an offer from Fashionphile for $1400 for my Bleu DS and $1800 for my BH Evelyne. They are both in excellent condition - used maybe 5-6 times each. I just don't grab for them as much being a bright blue, and I feel like the Blue Hydra is really a summery color - what do you think? Can it do Fall? Winter?

PS. Or should I sell my new Etoupe Evelyne PM that feels kind of boring and also just sits in its dustbag.

I'd sell the etoupe. You can always get that color.
But, full disclosure, I'm someone who doesn't like etoupe, so that may have something to do with what I'd do. Whatever you choose, good luck. (I have vert jade and LOVE it)

Thanks for your opinion. I think you are totally right. I just think Etoupe is so bland. Thanks again.

Why sell at all?
An Evelyne is not interchangeable with a Double Sens.
(shoulder/hand carried/large/small)
The blues, although both vibrant, have a very different colour cast.
Bamboo would inject another bold colour to your choices, but you do not make any mention of style.
Whilst you have the choices, keep them.
You know it is unlikely that you would be able to pop into your favoured Hermes store and replace them again immediately.
You never know when might also want something that isn't a strong colour in the future - so that's the rationale to keep the étoupe.

If you need the funds to sell or just don't like to have too much stuff that is unused, I'd choose what you objectively will use the least. You know which bag does the least for you or you can't 'live' without. You like Evies and Double sens since you have them in multiple colours, so then I would pick the colour you use the least. If it is Etoupe, so be it. I don't like Etoupe either, to be fair.

I wouldn't consider Blue Hydra a fall/winter colour but it really depends on what you like to wear whether a colour works or not. Since you mention you don't use them because they are bright blue and you don't use the other Evie because etoupe is boring, I would let all three go but I don't hold on to stuff that I have not sufficient use for and get something I will actually really use.

Thanks for your thoughts, I am wanting funds to buy something else is the only reason I'm selling. Lordy knows I would keep them all if I could :-)
