Dear All,
I had a beige croc Hermès Lydie stolen from me last night in NYC. I would be SO eternally happy if anyone who heard about one being up for sale anywhere would get in touch with me, as there are not that many out there, and it may be mine. Please beware if you are considering buying, as this is reported to the NYPD as a grand larceny. Please contact me on the forum.

I did write down the year stamp somewhere but cannot find it at this moment. It's vintage 1980's, and in perfect condition. I still have the strap.. Posting a pic which also shows my white Constance.

For my insurance, I would also greatly appreciate any thoughts on what the value of the Lydie may be. It was passed on to me as a gift from the original owner.

waverly, that's awful! I hope you find it, safe and sound!

Since you live in NY, I would also suggest calling the consignment stores, and tell them to have you call them if one comes in or something like that -- the thieves might not sell them online.

Wow, two reports of theft in one day! This is a real gauge of the economy..

So sorry that this happened to you. It certainly makes me think twice about using my H bags in the current economic environment. I hope you're able to find your clutch.
