Hermes copycats

This isn't an Hermes bag and doesn't try to be - I don't see any Hermes markings on it. Seller doesn't claim that it's Hermes ... so no rules are being broken that I can see.

Maybe no any Hermes markings on the bag, but the look is exact with Hermes and the seller is using photos of celebrities carrying Hermes. Isn't it undeniable it's copycatting of the brand :p Not exactly "replicating" as no brand marking.

But how is that legal?

As long as they aren't claiming to be Hermes, or claiming that the celebrities in the pictures are carrying their bags and not Hermes, I don't think there is anything illegal about it. I do think the company/person should be more explicit by referring to the bag as "inspired by" the celebrity pictures, but I'm not sure Hermes would have a brand infringement case solely for that.

I think they would be in more trouble using copyrighted pictures ( the pap shots) for monetary gain then they would be with Hermes.

I can tolerate this more than the counterfeit ones. At least this one is honest not trying to be Hermes. Reason why they put the pics was maybe to show how it's supposed to look like those celebs carrying Birkins...
But even if you carry a real Birkin, most people still won't look like the celebs anyway, haha..

A copycat bracelet I found in Far East Plaza. Looks nice, but in no way was I going to buy cause I don't want to encourage the sellers for this type of merchandise.

That bag is so far from an exact copy. It's really an awful looking bag.
