I just thought this bag style is so underrated for its versatility and simplicity. Recently got the Cabasellier 46cm in Ebene Faubourg Barenia (a dream leather & color combo of mine for workhorse bags). Should I wear it with or without my handmade doggy charm to remind me of my doggy friends?

Thanks! The shoulder carry is extremely roomy and comfortable. And the simple design offers a lot of opportunities for charms and rodeos! I’m excited to decorate it - and then use it & love it & help the barenia to get a beautiful patina!

Lovy bag n nice leather!
I love my new Cabasellier for work as well. It is a lot more comfortable to wear on my shoulder compare to the garden party 36, especially when I am wearing thick winder coat now.
I hang the kelly glove clip on mine.

Thanks! I’m not that against bobbles on my bags. I think they do add a bit more character especially on simple bags. Also gives me the excuse to keep shopping for accessories! I do like to buy these little things from independent studios rather than Hermes. I’m excited to play with the bag.

Here you go, it is in biscuit colour. The glove clip is more as an accessory instead of being functional.

Are you going to use a bag insert? it is so hard to find a bag insert for this bag. I have just ordered one from Singapore and waiting for it to arrive.

Oh great question! It’s very odd that Hermes calls this bag 46 when in fact its base is about the same as my Birkin 40 - I believe it’s the top opening that’s 46cm. And when I tried to use my b40 organizer, it wouldn’t actually fit! I tried my Kelly 40 organizer, and what do you know - it actually fits perfectly! K40 organizers are not that hard to find off the shelf. Hopefully this helps!

I love your doggy charm! It is so cute (and dare I say, I like it better than the charms Hermes itself has).

I asked my SA about the cabasellier a while back but I don't think she's ever even seen one come in.. haha! In any case, I love the combo you have going, and barenia F is to die for too!

Thank you!!! I do love the charm - and I’ve decided to go hunt for a better leather strap to replace the current fabric one. Based on this thread, it sure sounds like more Cabaselliers are being shipped. So maybe you could inquire about it again. The bag, with its comfortable design and accessible price point, is like the Betty White (all due respect and love, RIP) of Hermes bags. It’s beautiful, but always easygoing and humble.
