HERMES Bolide Skate 31 thoughts?

Any body got Stealth Skateboard Bolide 31 recently ? I got black one from the official web, not sure it's good purchase ... I probably can get better bag for the money... any thoughts? It's limit edition with Blue inner box. from the internet seems some countries can just walk into the store to purchase or from the official web to get this bag I know there are 3 colors.. gold. vert and noir. .. how's your experience with this bag? Have you seen this bag in store or your sa offers this bag to you? Does this kind of bag hold the value? Thanks!

I think this is a collector's item, a bit of a novelty. If you bought it as an investment, you might be hard-pressed to find a buyer. If, instead, you bought it because you love it then enjoy your purchase.

My only reservations would be it's somewhat heavier that a reg Bolide 31 and that it doesn't have the lovely handles to carry in-hand (and that I already have 3 Bolides).

I don't know why I think so, but I imagine the bottom to be seriously hard, harder than the regular bottom. Some object to the wide dimension of the B35 because it juts out and can inadvertently hit some unsuspecting passer-by. If you bumped into someone with this it might actually really hurt.

I've got three as well but I'm open to a fourth if something special and irresistible presents itself next year; I love a good celebration.

I'm not a fan, even though I LOVE skateboards, because the bag loses the lovely Bolide shape. (I do like the idea of whacking a mugger with it LOL.)

As for "does it hold value is it a good buy can I just walk in and get it etc etc etc"....honestly, a discerning consumer can make up his or her own mind. To me it's a collector's item and will only possibly show value in a few years if sold along with another ridiculdonk collection like the recent one that came up at auction.

All that said, I'll take the Bolide with wheels any day, all day, if someone offers me one, and I know that won't hold its value either

I agree with you! It is heavier than a regular Bolide 31 - I managed to "test" one at the store last week.

well. just got the bag an hour ago, it's smaller than i expected.. and there is a stain or mark on the leather.. so i am going to return it... good quality built for sure.
