Here are my thoughts on MY favorite leathers just to give you an idea.
Togo: Love it for its durability. It can take a beaten and keeps on ticking
Clemance: Smells Good! Yummy! Also, love the slouch
Epsom: I love it just because it's stamped. No, seriously I just love how the bags made in this leather stays stiff. This is like a well built man hanging off your arm.
Vache Liegee: Love it. Same reason as Epsom
Boxed Calf: There are no words to explain this leather. Love everything about it. I have quite a few bags in this leather. Black Box
Fjord: I like this bag for the lightness of it. It's a very nice light leather. Also love how it holds it's form even years after use.
Chamonix: It is a very casual leather. It can turn any handbag "Casual"
Barenia: What is there not to say about Barenia
These are all the leathers I go goo-goo-gaga over.
Croc, lizard and Ostrich, Eel, are in their own category. Love all four.
Now, what I
dislike (won't say hate, too harsh of a word to use for Hermes)
Chevre in any which way or form it is cut. It should
ONLY be used for lining the bags. It just makes my spine tingle, literally. It reminds me of termite trails for some reason. Sorry all Chev lovers out there.
