Hermès Balusoie

I have not seen any particular thread dedicated to this bag but would like to know, do you like it? Has anyone bought? It looks similar to the bride a brac toiletry case; would you choose one over the other?
Will Hermès spa it? Lol, so many questions.

Agreed, I like that style better. The silk still worries me though.

I was going to say the same thing. H seems to be showing some appreciation for Japanese master crafts and traditions at the moment; eg aizome

Cute but overpriced for what it is. If the silk is the same parachute kind of silk on their old silky pop or silky city bags, it is very very durable. I used to carry some small grocery items in my silky pop.

Personally like the Bride a Brac more. Heard some people get a shoulder strap and attach onto it for an over the shoulder or crossbody look. Probably more spacious too, but not sure. This Balusoie looks very flat, unlike the Bride a Brac

It looks like a petit H item to me - like they had leftover silk and leather bits and decided to make something cute with it that collectors will go for but that isn't super functional or appealing to their regular customers. I am surprised it's in their regular line.

Yeah, I have the two sizes which I typically don't use as a bag ( I did take it to the beach and on a yacht with a few items though) but they are really roomy. The Balusoie would show the outline of everything.
