Hi everyone,

I usually reside in the Dior and Fendi forums but after a visit to the Hermès forum and trawling through some of the threads I fear I may have been bitten by the orange bug! :shame: Thanks to Duncan, I'm thinking of getting a Twilly (my first ever!) and need some advice on pricing, if possible.

I will be flying in a couple of weeks' time and was just wondering whether anyone knew where would be the cheaper place to get it: Singapore or Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) airport?

I am also assuming that both of these countries would be cheaper than Australia; am I correct?

A final naive question: would there currently be any sales on at the moment?

Changi would be the cheaper one (if one could say H and cheap in the same sentence). Not sure if there's a H in KLIA. No harm checking the stores in both countries, as you'd never know what you find.

Lastly, no sales at the moment for both Sg and KL.

There is a small Hermès boutique at KLIA but during my incoming trip I didn't think to check for prices then. Guess now I'll do my shopping in Singapore and then drop by the KLIA boutique for a quick look-see on my way out.

I bought a twilly in KLIA for RM420 in March if that helps. And yes, it's ridiculously expensive in Australia - I believe it's A$195.

Wow the markup in Australia is insane! But then again, I shouldn't be surprised, should I... :sneaky:

Thanks for those prices! :flowers: It's about $186 in Singapore (excluding the 7% GST) so I guess Malaysia is slightly cheaper.

I managed to find the Store Locator function on the Hermès web site (probably should've tried that first before posting this thread - sorry! :sweatdrop:) and called up the boutique; it's still RM 420. Apparently there won't be a price increase until 1 August, right?
