Hermes at Fashion Valley Mall coming soon!

If this is in the wrong thread I apologize. I don't venture into Hermes that often and this may have already been brought up. I was at the Fashion Valley Mall, in San Diego, California yesterday and as I walked out of Bloomies to my awe was the beautiful orange of Hermes all around the spot where the Hermes boutique is coming soon. Talk about a grand entrance. Not sure when it's opening up but soon. Also right next to Hermes is a Jimmy Choo now and they said they have only been there about a month! Just wanted to share.

I was at Fashion on Tuesday and had to go by the Hermes construction. I even took a pic of it. I can't wait until it finally opens.

I don't about this store's situation but when the Charlotte store opened a couple years ago they had a lot of Birkins!

They have to be open by Thanksgiving for the holiday season, of course.

Blanking on his name but that dude at the Wall St H will be the new manager of the San Diego H.

Aha! So it is true...I had heard we were getting our manager from the East coast. The FV LV manager was of the opinion that H is extremely behind schedule and said she would be surprised if they opened on time.

I try to peek through the orange slats to see how far they've come along and there is still a lot of construction. I'm still crossing my fingers for a holiday opening, though!

Bit of trivia: Apparently some very rude individuals think vandalism is funny...on the orange slats, "H-E-R-M-E-S" has had to be re-done/painted several times after having been changed into "H-E-R-P-E-S."
