Hermes 24mm belt special order?

Hi TPF,

I'm a very new H shopper and just visited the boutique 2x so far and have been shopping with the same SA. I was in the store yesterday to look for a 24mm belt, with the gamma buckle. Unfortunately, the belt strap is a bit too short for me. My SA was trying to look for the longer size from another store but had no luck, and he mentioned that he can do a special order for the belt strap with the gamma buckle. He also recommends me to consider the 32mm belt strap, but I can't find any belt buckle that I like from that size.

I usually heard that special order is for bags, not for belts so I was quite surprised to hear that he has this option. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with the belt special order?

The royal buckle is avail in 32mm and has a similar look to gamma if that helps?

Certain styles of RTW, Shoes and Belts can be made to measure. There is a slightly higher cost for it and it's not really a special order as you cannot customize anything about the item. It's just made to your specific measurements.

Good to know! Yes, I think it's just made to measure, it's just that my SA says it "special order belt" so I got a bit surprised. I should ask about the cost, I totally forget that when I was in the store.

The reversible belts have the option of personalization. It was available a few years ago, and now, Hermes has made it easier. You get to choose the colours of each side. You can also get your initials and a symbol hot stamped. Finally, you can choose your buckle. It’s not special order per se like for bags, but it’s similar to how Calvi can be personalized now. It’s currently available on the French website:
