Here is my Black Heritage WOC which I got earlier this week. I had intended to use it as a crossbody but it looks better on the shoulder with the chain doubled up or just run across the top of the bag, like in the pictures below.

It's quite roomy for a WOC - lipstick, tissues, car keys and even my sunglasses were in there earlier. There is a flat compartment right under the flap for maybe a parking ticket or receipts, a zipped compartment for banknotes and coins, a thicker middle compartment where car keys, lipstick, tissues, etc can be kept, 6 card slots, and another flat compartment for more paper and receipts. These flat compartments are quite pliable and easy to prop open.

I found a way to tuck the chain underneath so that it stays in place when run across the top of the bag, as one of the pictures below shows. It's a really chic bag and I can foresee dressing it up or down

Congrats! I love the Heritage line and this is so pretty, especially in that glossy black. I imagine that in addition to wrapping the chain under the flap as you did, you could also possibly shorten the chain by clipping both ends on to the same ring (assuming the chain fits through the opposite ring), or clipping the ends on to other parts of the chain at whatever length you want??? Seems really versatile.

Thanks so much! I hadn't thought of clipping to same ring and running through to opposite ring (the chain does fit through the ring although the hook doesn't)! Thanks so much for that suggestion!

I haven't tried clipping to other parts of chain for a different look though I know the chain links are big enough to accommodate the hook

Oh that's too bad that the hooks won't fit through the rings; kind of shoots down my idea. Anyway, there are still so many ways to wear it as you showed. You could remove the chain entirely and carry it as a clutch to dressy events.

Oooh!!! So after your post, I studied the hooks again and discovered that they don’t fit through by just a little bit. Then it occurred to me that it can fit through the rings if I open it while trying to pass it through at an angle! Long story short, it works as seen in pic below! Thanks for inspiring me!

Yay glad it works! So then also you could double up the chain in half if you attach both hooks to one ring and run the chain through the other ring. Woohoo!

Well not quite that way cos it ends up too short and close to the underarm. So I found a different way like in the pics below. Although it’s not anchored by the rings, the drop is too short for it to come undone but at least not too close to the underarm:

So, being 5'1" and after a day of using this WOC, I have found that the best strap configuration for me is both hooks attached to same ring with the chain running through one ring, per the first picture. This enables both wearing on the shoulder and comfortable crossbody wear with the same chain length

The second set of pictures is the strap configuration for on the shoulder wear with the chain running along the top of the bag for those of us who just love seeing chains haha  As you can see, I have tweaked the chain configuration by running part of the chain underneath (see part of chain closer to screen) so that it acts as a pivot point there.

The third set of photos shows the strap configuration for doubling up of the chain. As I explained in my earlier post, although the chain does not run through rings, the drop is too short for it to come undone and it is a nice drop from the underarm. This configuration also enables me to easily change it back to the other configurations where both hooks are attached to the same ring.

I love the various options you came up with for this WOC. I tried this first at the boutique, then the Fou WOC. Both versions continue to tempt me and you made it even harder with your reveal. Thank you for sharing all these with us! [emoji253]
