omg, i cannot believe it....my hands are shaking on the keyboard.....
last summer, DH asked me what i wanted for my 10-yr anniversary gift (coming up this spring). i've been begging him for a birkin bag for the longest time-i even said he could combine it into my christmas/40th bday/10-yr anniversary gift this year. he lovingly obliged......
last sept, i immediately gave him a list of my specs and he began the hunt since then for my one and only birkin-he even enlisted his best friends to help him out. long story short, one of his buddies finally got hold of one, and DH presented it to me on christmas (it was in the box beautifully wrapped so DH never got to see it beforehand). sadly, it was neither the size nor color i had desired. i was so heartbroken. DH didn't bother to check inside the box as he figured, along with his friend, "something H is better than nothing H".
